Old Dog, New Dog

OldDogNewDogCheck out Coldwell Banker’s newest video! Old Dog, New Dog! Coldwell Banker began telling the story of how dogs embody the joy and love of home, partnering with North American adoption network Adopt-A-Pet.com to create the Coldwell Banker Homes For Dogs Project. The continued success of this initiative has inspired another story about how dogs help to make a house a home.

Whidbey Island Area Fair Winner!

?

We had a great time at our booth at the Whidbey Island Area Fair this year. Lots of folks stopped by to chat or ask about the Island County real estate market. We had four days of fun and conversation with members of our community and visitors from off-island. This year we again gave out $50 gift certificates from local businesses to the winners of our daily drawings. Show here is Becky Brager, winner of a gift card to Sebos, and Joe Aernie, our broker in the Bayview office. We, at Coldwell Banker Tara Properties, offer congratulations to all of the winners!

RyanRyan’s House for Youth offers a safe, home-like environment for at-risk and homeless teens. With the help of caring mentors, youth find the tools to help heal and grow in their relationships, while giving them the opportunities to reach their highest potential.

Ryan’s House has the opportunity to purchase the former Countryside Inn located on the Highway across from Island Transit Station in Coupeville, which is comprised of 2 buildings totaling 7200 sq ft on approx. 7.8 acres of prairie at the entrance to Ebey’s Landing Reserve. This will take care of the immediate need for a Drop-In Center large enough to accommodate more kids.

Rick Chapman and Marchele Hatchner from Coldwell Banker Tara Properties are providing brokerage service on a pro bono basis. The seller, SaviBank, understands that a strong community is good business and are contributing $75,000. Some additional funds have already been raised.
