“Fair” Experience

fair2016_1smThe Whidbey Island Fair is underway. We’re in Day 2 of the 4 day event. Our booth came out great, as you can see. The music, rides, 4-H activities, and the different aromas coming from the various food booths are exciting for all. Stop by our Coldwell Banker Tara Properties booth in the Turner (Commercial) Building and sign up for one of our gift certificates. No obligation. And, if you’re interested in knowing about buying or selling property on the island, finding out about current market conditions, or just want to talk about our community, we’d love for you to stop by.

Robin Edgeman, Carol Gannaway & Deborah Jones

Deborah Jones (right), a broker in the Freeland office of Coldwell Banker Tara Propertes, and Robin Edgeman (left and behind a bit) help their good friend Carol Gannaway (center) prepare the ribbons for the parade winners at the Whidbey Island Area Fair. Carol has been in charge of the parade for several years. It takes hours of her time to prepare and coordinate the numberous volunteers to make the parade a success. Way to go Carol and all those that helped!

See us at the Whidbey Island Fair

Coldwell Banker Tara Properties again has a booth at the (formerly Island County) Whidbey Island Fair in downtown Langley. Stop by and say hello. We’re there from 9:30 to closing each of the 4 days. The booth is in the Turner Commercial building and we’re giving away bags, pens, and a chance to win a daily $50 gift certificate to 3 Sisters Family Farm in Oak Harbor. 3 Sisters features natural grass-fed beef, natural pork, and free-range eggs. The brokers on duty will be glad to give you any information on buying or selling real estate on Whidbey Island or any general information you may want on buying, building, selling, or living on Whidbey Island.

Fun at the Island County Fair

For as long as I can remember, Coldwell Banker Tara Properties has had a booth at the annual Island County Fair. We get a chance to meet with old and new friends, give away chances to win prizes, and help folks if they’re interested in buying or selling property. Agents from all 3 of our offices spend time renewing acquaintances and getting to know off-island visitors. Our booth always features lots of flyers and information on the properties currently on the market and this year we featured 2 builders and their projects: Seattle Pacific Homes and their 4 projects on the north of the Island and Langley Builders with The Highlands project in Langley. Thanks to Cynthia Bangston for the pano photo of our booth (not quite in the finished stage).
